Important Notice — Please Read Before Using Acquilens

This notice is shown to you the first time you sign in to Acquilens and each time we materially update this notice. Please read it carefully. It highlights some of the most important things you should understand before using the platform.

This notice is a summary. Your full agreement with Acquilens is set out in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What Acquilens does (and doesn't do)

Acquilens uses artificial intelligence to help you analyse documents in a due-diligence data room. Our specialist AI agents review the documents you upload and produce structured outputs — summaries, risk flags, and commentary — to support your own due-diligence process. Acquilens is a tool to assist you. It does not replace the judgment of qualified legal, financial, tax, or other professional advisers, and it is not a substitute for independent verification of the matters it identifies.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing produced by Acquilens constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, regulatory, or other professional advice, and no adviser–client or solicitor–client relationship is formed by your use of this platform. Outputs are AI-generated analysis provided for your assistance only. Before relying on any output for a transaction or decision, you must have it reviewed and verified by a qualified adviser with knowledge of the relevant jurisdiction, facts, and circumstances.

3. Accuracy and limitations of AI

Generative AI can produce output that is incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or that appears confident while being wrong (often called "hallucinations"). Acquilens's outputs reflect only the documents you upload and the models in use at the time of analysis — they do not reflect information outside the data room, current law beyond the model's training data, or developments occurring after the analysis was run. Risk ratings and classifications are probabilistic signals to guide your attention, not conclusions.

4. Your responsibilities

By using Acquilens you confirm that:

5. Data handling

Documents you upload are processed through our privacy pipeline, which attempts to remove personally identifiable information before content is sent to our AI processing provider. Pseudonymisation is imperfect and is not a substitute for your own assessment of whether a document is appropriate to upload. Full details of how we handle your data, including the sub-processors we use, are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. This is a summary

This notice highlights key risks of using Acquilens. It does not replace the Acquilens Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which govern your use of the platform in full — including limitations of liability, warranty disclaimers, intellectual property, and governing law. Where this notice and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
